North American Migratory Bird Count

The results of this count are combined with other counts in Allegheny County and Pennsylvania and are forwarded to the National Audubon Society to be included in their international spring migration count. This information is useful in helping determine bird population changes, geographic shifts and changes of migratory patterns of species.
